SPARKS Families,
Thank you so much for an incredible first month of school! We spent so much time over the summer envisioning what this first month would look like, and your SPARKS have exceeded our expectations. It has been such a joy having them back in the halls, in their new spirit shirts and polos, and receiving high fives and hugs from them. Your children are incredible, and we are so excited for the year ahead of us!
As an instructional leader on campus, I’m committed to growing our teachers, so that they can grow our students. This year's slogan is Level Up, and it will take all of us to achieve our goal of providing an excellent education that prepares our students for college and beyond.
The first month of school has not been without its hiccups, but we are resolute in improving and ensuring that we create a safe and welcoming environment for all of our students, families, and community stakeholders. Thank you for being thought partners, advocates, and cheerleaders. Your words do not go unnoticed.
As we go into the rest of this year, we are looking forward to celebrating wins with you and your SPARKS and partnering to make sure our community reflects the school you all want for you and your families. If you haven’t already, please consider joining us at the next Coffee with the Principal. This opportunity allows you to embed your thoughts and feelings for your SPARKS in our school. We are always stronger together, and we want you to have a seat at the table when creating our North Central Community.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Mr. Martinez
