Dear Spark Families,
We will continue to celebrate love, kindness, and diversity this week. As we move forward into testing season, we the NCE team continue to exercise love, kindness, and appreciation for cultural and academic Diversity. We are committed to supporting your students to become more culturally enriched through our different programs and academically through our different initiatives.
We are committed to you and your students. We continue to need your support and participation in your students’ events, and projects, and bringing them on time to school by 7:25 a.m. Also, please remember to support your students by allowing them a clean space where they can focus on school projects or homework.
I am a firm believer that with the collaboration of every member of the NCE family (parent/guardians, students, and NCE staff), we can accomplish anything we set to mind. Our main goal this week and every week is to support your diverse learners to become college/career-ready. Please continue to reach out to any of us at NCE if you need support or ideas on how to support your student. It takes a village to raise a child! We are your village!

Families, if you need to pick up your student from the front office, you MUST present your physical ID. If the school nurse or the legacy clinic calls you to pick up your student, make sure you have your ID BEFORE you come and get the student from the office. We accept driver’s licenses, passports, matricula consular, and EAD Cards... Documents MUST have a picture to be accepted.
We WILL NOT accept picture IDs when picking up from the front office. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Some other reminders:
- The cut-out time for early pick-ups is 2:15 pm, please make the necessary arrangements to be on campus on time to avoid any inconvenience.
- The front office closes every day from 2:45 pm to 3:15 pm to prepare for dismissal.
- If you forget your car tag, you can pick up the student from the front office at 3:15 pm, MUST have an ID.
Families, there are 9 days left to submit applications for the 2024-2025 school year. Visit https://yesprep.schoolmint.com/login and submit your student's application. Applying early can result in higher opportunities to get a seat! If you need help by filling out an application, please message me or stop by the front office.
PS: If your child is already a YES student, YOU DO NOT NEED to reapply.

Dear Sparks Families,
Friendly Reminder for families to please review any communication sent to you about immunization records and submit an updated copy to the school nurse. All students must have extra clothes in their backpacks for any accident. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me via phone/email.
