Spark families,

We can not thank you enough for bringing so much life, joy, energy, excitement, and love to our Black Excellence showcase (a huge thank you to Ms. O'Leary and Ms. Timothy for organizing this event and bringing the imagination to NCE). While February gave us a reason to focus on black history, it's important that we talk to our kids about inclusivity, love, black history, and the cultural impact of black leaders throughout the entire year. National Special Education Week begins on the 21st of March, and with that being said, we ask that you take the time to talk to your students about respectful inclusion. You can do this by:

  • Teaching your child how to make and keep friends with and without different abilities.
  • Speaking respectfully about others and valuing individual abilities and differences.
  • Providing opportunities for all children to contribute to our community and celebrate effort!

In the commencement of special education week, we want to thank all our SPED staff. Thank you for your hard work and endless love.

Ms. Rodriguez

Food Deliveries

  • Please do not forget that food deliveries are ONLY allowed on Fridays.
  • Starting the week of 03/21 we will ONLY allow sealed drinks during food deliveries.

Be here! Every day. All Day. All The Way!

Attendance is key for a child to be successful in school. Students that are present for the entire week of 03/07 - 03/11, will receive an outstanding attendance bookmark, pencil, and spark bucks. As a reminder, if students have scheduled appointments, students can return to school and be marked present, as long as you provide a doctor's excuse.
